On September 11, 1969, in Macon, MS a baby girl was born to J.B. and Lucy Sanders. They named her Alice Faye Patton. Faye grew up enjoying grilling and cooking for the family. She brought rays of "Sunshine" to the lives of everyone that she touched. With an encouraging smile and a warm heart, she was always there when you called. Faye confessed hope in Christ under the leadership of Rev. E.B. Tate and joined Second Baptist Church. When Jesus called on the night hours of October 25, 2022, she answered and graciously went home.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, her sisters Rosie, Della, and brother Henry.

Faye leaves to cherish special memories of her to:  a devoted sister, Linda (Theodore) Washington; one daughter, Resheca (Timothy) Deloach; two sons, Keon (Kelmisha) Patton and Roshaun (Latina) Patton; three sisters, Queen Mixon of Detroit, MI, Ruby (Fred) Patton of Macon, MS, and Vanessa Washington of Wisconsin; eight brothers,  John D. King (Carolyn) of Memphis, TN, Nathaniel Pate (Thanisha), L.C. Sanders, Charlie Patton, TJ Sanders, J.B. Sanders (Bernice) of St. Louis, MO, J.D. Sanders (Brenda) of San Antonio, TX, Richard Sanders, and Fred Roby; ten grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and relatives.
