Allen Davis was born July 1, 1934, to the late Edgar Davis, Sr. and the late Susie Davis in Clarksdale, MS. He confessed Christ at an early age. His journey on earth ended on August 22, 2023. I have fought a good fight; I have finished my course. I have kept the faith...henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day; and not to me only, but unto all them also who love his appearing. 2 Timothy 4:7-8.

He was preceded in death by: his father, Edger Davis, Sr.; his mother, Susie Davis; his brothers: Edgar Davis, Jr., Clarence Davis, and William Turner; his sisters: Clara Davis and Anna Howell.

He leaves to cherish his memories: A host of nieces, nephews, and a host of great nieces and great nephews.
