Obituary

Allen Hendricks, Sr., affectionately known as "Big Al," was born to the late Freddie and Lenner B. Hendricks on November 6, 1970. He accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of Rev. Milton Gregory at Mount Olive Hackleberry Church. He later became a member of United Faith Interdenominational Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Rone Burgin, Sr. Allen was a 1990 graduate of Caldwell High School. His employments included Apac, Airline Manufacture and Hydro Vac, being last until his health began to fail. On Sunday, November 23, 2014, Allen was called by his Heavenly Father. He transitioned into eternity where he was welcomed by his mother, father, one sister, two brothers and a host of heavenly angels. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Lenner and Freddie B. Hendricks; one sister, Jessie Ann; two brothers, Robert and Bobby Hendricks. He leaves to cherish his memories: his only child, Allen "A.J." Hendricks, Jr.; two brothers, George Shields of Meridian, MS, and Eddie (Shalaan) Hendricks of Columbus, MS; four sisters, Julia (Rone) Burgin of Columbus, MS, Patricia Smith of Columbus, MS, Nicole (Robert) Jackson of Canton, MS, and Barbara (Tommy) Kidd of Steens, MS; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
