Alvin Kincaid, 78 years old, of Macon MS, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2026. He was born on January 8, 1948 in Macon, MS. He was known for his warm spirit, kind heart, and wonderful sense of humor.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Sadie Kincaid; Father, Leonard Kincaid; brother, Leonard Kincaid Jr; sisters, Dorothy Kincaid and Elnore Rupert, brother-in-law, J.W. Miller and his beloved granddaughter, Kaya Mitchell.
Alvin leaves to cherish his wife, Viola Kincaid of Macon, MS; his sisters, Luverda Miller of Macon, MS, and Ordean Kincaid of Chicago IL; daughters, Nakii Kincaid of Macon, MS, CJhar Fairley of Columbus MS, Tracie Miller of Macon, MS; sons, Darold Mitchell (Joneaset Mitchell) of Madison MS, Stacy Mitchell (Angela Mitchell) of Crawford, MS and Timothy Mitchell of Macon, MS; and host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and remarkable cousins and friends.
Alvin worked at Bryan Food for over 20 years, where he was respected for his integrity and generosity. He was known as a dependable and hardworking man who took pride in everything, he did. He built lasting relationships with his coworkers who became like family and were always willing to lend a helping hand to others.
Outside of work, Alvin found joy in traveling and spending time with family and friends, and he never missed an opportunity to lend a helping hand or make someone smile. His legacy of love, hard work, and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
We take comfort in knowing that Alvin’s spirit lives on, and his life was a blessing to all who had the privilege to know him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter and strength. He will forever be cherished and never forgotten.
