Annie J. Brewer-Davis was born May 4, 1952 in Macon, MS to the late Annie D. Brewer and James Dunlap. She made her transition on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at 3:31 p.m. at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS.
She confessed her life to Christ at the age of 12 at Pilgrim Rest M.B. Church in Brooksville, MS. Annie joined Oakland M.B. Church and remained a faithful member until death.
Her hobbies were cooking, singing, and spending time her kids, grandchildren and family. If you were sick or beginning to get sick, she would always show up with her special remedy (Turpentine). She believes that Turpentine could make any pain and sickness go away.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father, her sister Mary Brewer; two brothers, Clabon Brewer and Tom Brewer; her granddaughter, Diamond Washington.
Annie leaves to cherish her memories: her loving and caring husband, John Davis of Crawford, MS, our children, Dorothy (John) Liddell of Louisvillle, MS, Mary Washington, Genette Brewer and Gary (Tineka) Brewer all of Crawford, MS, four stepchildren; her siblings, Charlie Brewer, Jr., Willie (Lillie) Brewer, Sam E. Brewer, Carzel Brewer, Josephine Green, Ruby Brewer, Martha Brewer, Daniel (Lula) Brewer, James C. (Linda) Brewer, Pem Brewer and Kennedy Brewer all of Brooksville, MS, James E. (Antoinette) Brewer of West Point, MS, Phillip Dunlap and Kenny J . Dunlap both of Arlington, TX, Wallace Dunlap of New Brunswick, NY and Dorothy Dunlap; one special aunt, Lucinda Dowd of Brooksville, MS. She also leaves to cherish her memories; fifteen grandchildren; twenty eight great- grandchildren, two bonus grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
