Annie Ruth Malone Lee was born on September 23, 1955 in Brooksville, MS to Rev. James Malone and Fannie Lee Williams Malone. She grew up in Brooksville and attended schools at Wilson Elementary and Noxubee County High School, graduating in 1973. After high school, she continued her education at M & I College. After high school, Annie began working; most recently as a C.N.A. at the Windsor Nursing Home. She was a member of Morton Chapel

Annie was proud San Francisco 49ers fan. She enjoyed cruising on Carnival Cruises with family. During her spare time, she would fish and garden.
Annie departed this life on November 4, 2022 in Columbus, MS. She is preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Lois Malone; step brother, Abe Mason and one step-sister, Mary Ann Ivy.
Annie leaves to cherish her memories: two sons: Cedrick Shumpert and Carzell Lee; one granddaughter, Cedriuna Shumpert; five sisters, Maggie Turner and Liza Malone of Brooksville, MS, Jackie (Darrell) Hunt of Shuqualak, MS, Earnestine Shirley of Columbus, MS and Lessie (Dennis) Easley of Tupelo, MS; six brothers, Forest (Frances) Malone, James (Barbara) Malone of Brooksville, MS, David (Earlene) of Starkville, MS, Robert (Delois) Malone of Columbus, MS, John Malone of Tupelo, MS and Henry Malone of Atlanta, GA; her step-mother, Bessie Mason Malone; step-sisters, Doris (Eunice) Pruitt of Columbus, MS, Bernice (Noble) Harmon of Youngstown, OH, Betty (Tom) Graham and Evelyn Mason of Macon, MS; step-brothers, Jerry (Vanessa) Mason of Columbus, MS and Willie Tate of Warner Robbins, GA.
