Born on July 18, 1943, in Columbus, Mississippi, Barbara’s journey was marked by both service and love, embodying the qualities of a truly loving and caring soul.

Her professional life was a testament to her unwavering commitment to nursing. After receiving her bachelor's degree in nursing, Barbara pursued a career in private duty nursing. Through her tireless efforts and tender care, she brought comfort and dignity to those she served, exemplifying the highest standards of her profession until her retirement.

She was also known for her love of conversation, ever eager to engage, listen, and share stories with friends and family alike.
