Barbara Jean Harris Rogers was born in Miami, FL on October 2, 1949 to the late J.D. Harris and the late Stella Mae Bell.

Barbara confessed Christ at an early age. She was raised in Saraland, AL. She was united in holy matrimony to her husband James Rogers.
She was preceded in death by her father, J.D. Harris; her mother, Stella Mae Bell; her husband, James Rogers; her daughter, Lanell Dixon Meady.

Barbara leaves to cherish her lovely memories: her brother, Eddie (Loretta) Lee Bell of Copperas Cove, TX; son, Anthony (Kimberly) Dixon of Seattle, WA; three daughters, Sophia (Johnny) Dixon, Deanna Harris, and Robin Harris all of Columbus, MS; She also has seventeen amazing grandchildren; thirteen plus great grandchildren. Barbara was loved by many people. She leaves so many great memories of laughter and loved that will forever be cherished by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
