Obituary

Betty Jean Brooks was born December 9, 1955 in Macon, MS to Annie Laura Robinson and Tate Robinson.

She confessed her hope in Christ and joined Woodlawn C.M.E. Church. She was a faithful member until her death. Betty worked in the fellowship hall. She was and faithful usher until her health felled her. She was united to Earnest Brooks Jr.

Later on she moved to Kalamazoo, Michigan. After living their Betty and her husband moved back to Mississippi. She was employed with Sanders and Plumbing in Columbus, MS, Peco Foods in Brooksville, MS. After retiring, Betty decided to do housekeeping for several years.

She is preceded in death by her mother Annie Laura Robinson.

Betty Jean leaves to cherish her memories husband Earnest Brooks Jr. of Brooksville, MS, One son Ricky Robinson of Louisville, KY, Father Tate Robinson of Brooksville, MS. Two sisters Delois Mayo of Brooksville, MS, Susie Sanders (Tyrone) of Brooksville, MS, One brother Tate Robinson JR. (Essie) of Columbus, MS. One Aunt Pauline Pippin of Kalamazoo, MI, Three sister-in-laws: Angeline Brooks, Susie Brooks, and Dorothy Kincaid all of Brooksville, MS. Three brother-in-laws: J. C. Brooks, John Lee Brooks, Johnny B. Brooks (Julia) all of Brooksville, MS. A host of grandchildren, great grands, niece's nephews and cousin.  Betty was loved by many people. She will truly be missed.
