Caleb W.
Cistrunk
August 19, 2002 – December 15, 2025
Caleb Wanya' Cistrunk, age 23, passed away on December 15, 2025, in Columbus, MS. And while we wish he wasn't gone, we know one thing for sure, he left this world with style, laughter, and a whole lot of love behind him. Born on August 19, 2002. Caleb was the definition of living in the moment. He was the silliest, brightest, and strongest person in the room and somehow also the one hyping everyone else up like it was his full-time job. His laugh was contagious and usually louder than the room. He could turn any moment into a dance break. Caleb was more than a husband, friend, son, brother, or cousin, he was a built-in best friend, and a professional mood-booster. If you knew him, you have at least one "remember when Caleb…" story.
He loved trail riding, hunting, playing golf, traveling, and he never missed a chance to make someone feel seen, confident, or just plain happy. Caleb had a gift for turning ordinary moments into memories, and he did it effortlessly. Caleb was baptized at Pilgrim Grove Missionary Baptist Church in West Point, MS. Caleb was enlisted in the United States Army National Guard since May 2023 until the time he passed. He was employed as a firefighter at the Starkville Fire Department since 2024.
Caleb is survived by: his loving mother, Kenya Williams Cistrunk; his stepfather Rashaud Greenlee Sr.; his wife, Annabelle Cistrunk; his siblings, Alexizandrea Cistrunk, Rashaud Greenlee Jr., Ja'Kingya Clark; his grandfather, Noah D. Cistrunk; his aunts and uncles, LaQuanna Cistrunk, Chaday Cistrunk, Ciara Cistrunk and Dakota Cistrunk, Desiree O'Neal; his cousins, Aubrey Robertson, Ayden Cistrunk, Cortlen Nance, Jada Cistrunk and Deja Cistrunk; all of his other friends and family whom will carry his joy, humor, and love forward every single day.
In honor of Caleb, do something that makes you happy, hype someone up, live in the moment, and don't take life too seriously because that's exactly how he lived. Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever iconic.
