With hearts, full of love and faith we announce the passing of our beloved mother Celestina S. Dismuke, who entered eternal rest on February 15, 2026 at the age of 68. Born on March 19, 1957 in Koror Palau, she carried within her the beauty of the islands, strong as the ocean waves, graceful as the swaying palms, and radiant as the tropical flowers that bloom along its shores. Her life was a reflection of the paradise she called home.

Like the sacred path known as the Stairway to Heaven, her journey was one of faith and perseverance. Step by step she walked with humility, love, and devotion, lifting her family with prayer and guiding us with wisdom. Today, we take comfort in knowing she has reached the top of the heavenly stairway, welcomed into God’s eternal embrace. She was the heart of our family, a loving mother, a devoted grandmother and a faithful servant of God. Her kindest flowed freely, her prayers were constant, and her love was unconditional.

She is survived by her children, French (Chermaine) Jones, Claudia Jones and Deyoka Dismuke; her grandchildren, Justin (Daviana) Verner, Meunta Verner, Le’Waun (Cheyenne) Devereaux , Jonathan Morris Jr., Derrick Cross, Kalauni Dismuke, Messiah Jones, Claudia Jones; her great grandchildren, Justice Verner, Aurora Devereaux; her bonus sons, Cantrell Tate, Destry Jones, Rodriquez Dismukes; nephew, Henry Mays; her sisters, Diana Tate, Ylodia Smith, Ayles Sukrad, Theresita Mad, Thelma Tadao, Joan Peterson; her brothers, Arvin Raymond, Lloyd Raymond, Fernando Raymond, Keyslee Kewii; and a host of her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
