Charlie Fenster, Jr. was born on August 29, 1964, in Columbus, Mississippi, to Charlie Fenster, Sr. and Martha Ann Fenster. From an early age, he demonstrated remarkable creativity, and intellectual capacity that would become hallmarks of his life's journey.

As a young boy, Charlie accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at Oakland Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of his great-uncle, Rev. John Henry Cockrell.

Charlie was a proud graduate of Stephen D. Lee High School, Class of 1982. Possessing a thirst for knowledge and personal growth, he pursued higher education across multiple disciplines. His academic journey included studies at Jackson State University, Mary Holmes Community College and culminating in a degree in Fine Arts and Graphic Design from Mississippi University for Women. Never content to limit his learning, he further expanded his expertise by studying Electrical Technology at East Mississippi Community College.

A visionary by nature and an entrepreneur at heart, Charlie seamlessly blended artistic creativity with technical precision. His intellect, innovation, and determination led him to establish CFEN Photography & Graphic Design in August 1995, a business through which he transformed ideas into visual excellence.

Charlie's professional career reflected the depth of his capabilities. He excelled in a variety of leadership and technical roles, in his early years serving as an Assembly Line Supervisor with Baldor Electric Company, Assistant Manager at Stovall's Restaurant, Auditor and Manager for Hampton Inn, Photojournalist and Advertising Representative for The Commercial Dispatch, Machine Operator for Universal Industries Corporation, Commission Sales Associate at Sears Roebuck & Company in Home Improvement and Lawn & Garden, and a Resident Life Counselor for the Mississippi Governor's School. His commitment to lifelong learning and professional excellence ultimately led him to become a licensed electrician, working independently before concluding his career with Cache Valley Electric.

Charlie was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Charlie Fenster, Sr. and Martha Ann Fenster, and his special brother, Franklin Cockrell.

He leaves a legacy of love and cherished memories to his children, Charlie T. Fenster III of Tuscaloosa, AL; Amie S. Fenster and Miles Fenster of Summerville, SC; two sisters, Diana Fenster and Lillie Fenster of Columbus, MS; one brother, Isaac (Henrietta) Fenster of Columbus, MS; his special aunt and mother figure, Mable Cockrell Mosley of Columbus, MS; aunts, Annie Lee Turner of Mobile, AL, Lillie Mae Brooks of St. Louis, MO, Earnestine Hairston, and Jennie Lou Richards both of Columbus, MS; seven nephews, Jovi, Marcus, Terrell, Joshua, Malcom, Jarvis, and Isaac, Jr.; one niece, Jessica; 2 great-nieces and 2 great-nephews; a special cousin, Annie Cockrell Columbus, MS; and a host of devoted cousins, extended family members, and treasured friends.

Charlie's legacy will endure not only through the accomplishments he achieved, but through his sharp intellect and a brilliant artistic, creative, and analytical mind and the countless lives he inspired, encouraged, and enriched. Though he is no longer present in body, the imprint of his wisdom, talent, and love will remain in our hearts forever.
