Charlie was united in holy matrimony to Willette "Outlaw" Conner on June 27, 1973. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Sam and Mims Conner.
Charlie professed his belief in Christ at an early age. He devoted his membership to Providence Missionary Baptist Church. While on his Christian journey he enjoyed serving as a faithful deacon. During his tenure at Providence he faithfully attended church and was part of the deacon missionary until God called him home.
He was affectionately known as Bruh and Brother. Charlie was outgoing, caring, and compassionate toward his family and friends. Charlie never met a stranger. He enjoyed watching sports, CNN, hanging with friends and cooking fish. Michael Jackson was his all time favorite pop artist.
