Christy Rentae McCarter-Davis, affectionately known as "Baby Girl" was born to John McCarter, Sr., and Margaret Hill McCarter. Christy was born on August 13, 1980, in Macon, Mississippi.
Christy accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Charity Full Gospel M.B. Church, under the leadership of Bishop Bobby L. McCarter, Sr. where she attended until her health failed. She was a 1998 graduate of West Lowndes High School and she attended East Mississippi and Ittwamba Community Colleges. Christy was employed with Mondelez for 17 years.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers Jack B. Hill Sr., Nathaniel Peterson, grandmother Wenona McCarter-Peterson and her uncles Jack B. Hill Jr. and Carl L. Hill, her aunt Hilda Hill Fox, her 1st cousin, Monica Wyshun Hill, and her adopted aunt Helen Faye O'Neal (Willie) and adopted uncle Gene Turner.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Taurus Davis, her parents, John & Margaret McCarter of Crawford, MS; (4) sons, Kylan Hamilton, Jadan Hamilton and Nicholaus Hamilton, Jr. all of Tupelo, MS and Kenneth Stallings of Macon, MS; She also leaves to cherish her memories: (6) brothers, Netric Stevenson and Kenny Ray McCarter of Columbus, MS, John McCarter (Rochelle) and Derrick McCarter of Crawford, MS, Jeffrey McCarter (Apryl) of Arlington, TN and Gabriel McCarter of Scottsdale, AZ; (2) sisters, Beverly Hairston and Roslyn Blair of Crawford, MS; grandmother Lillie Hart-Hill of Crawford, MS; (4) aunts, Hazel Adams, Brenda Hill Stewart (Dennis) and Cathy Hill Jones, of Columbus, MS and Anna (Leon) McCarter of Crawford, MS; (3) uncles: Kendale Hill (Shirley), Jet Hill (Ann) and Gregory Hill (Marsha) of Columbus, MS; her mother-in-law, Tenia Tate (Robert) of Chattanooga, TN and father-in-law, Lambrin Meadows (Louie) of Rutherglen, VA; sister-in-law, Neshedra Tate of Starkville, MS and grandmother-in-law, Bettie Jean Henley of Brooksville, MS. She also leaves (2) grandchildren, King Ahmir Hamilton and Jayce Dachota Hamilton and a special niece, Taylor Danielle Hairston; God-daughter, Kennedy Bell; adopted sisters, Andrita Beckum (Tommie) of Starkville, MS, Nanette Colbert Wilson (Eugene) and Annette Colbert of Crawford, MS, Nikika McLeod of Caledonia, MS and Kilnesha Jamison-Ewell (Jordan) of Flint, MI and adopted brother, William Wilson of Crawford, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, relatives and friends.
