On August 25, 2022, God sent his sweet angel and called his son to eternal rest. We pause today to shed a tear in memory of the one we love so dear. Mr. Daniel Hinton was born on February 1, 1966 to the late Nora B and Frankie L Hinton. He confessed Christ at an early age and joined the Mt. Olive M.B. Church under the leadership of the late Rev. JC Bonner. He remained a faithful member until death, where he loved playing the drums, guitar and singing in the choir.

Daniel graduated from Carrollton High School, Class of 1985. He loved cars, riding motorcycles and all sports. He was a masonic member of Carrollton Lodge #420. He retired from the Columbus Municipal School District.

Daniel is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Lonnie Hinton and Johnnie B. Hinton; two sisters, Betty J Hinton- Richardson and Elizabeth Hinton; father-in-law, Malquett Williams, Sr., and brother-in law, Reventer Williams.

He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted and loving wife, Annie Hinton; five sons: Dustin Hodges, Jamie (Chelsey) Brown, Chase Brown, Devin Berry, and Aidan Hinton; two special daughters, Althea Moore Redman and Sommer Lathan; nine grandchildren: Mila, Jayda, Jamie Jr., Jayden, Justice, Jaylee, Ja'Christopher, Justin and Devin Jr., ; three brothers: John Henry (Barbara) Saahir, Leroy (Donna) Hinton and Timothy Hinton; three loving sisters, Shirley Shambly, Geraldine (Charles) Jones and Dorothy Hinton; mother-in-law, Claretha Williams; brother- in-law, Malquett Williams, Jr; sister-in-law, Natasha Williams; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives; two special friends Rufus Ketton and Jimmy Manning.
