Mr. David Rowry was born on April 25, 1958 in York, AL to Thomas Rowry and Lucille Parker. He attended schools and graduated from Sumter High School where he was a member of the band. David was a member of Southside M.B. Church.

He departed this life on April 8, 2022 in Columbus, MS.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Thomas Rowry, Jr.

David leaves to cherish his memories: two sons, Kenner Rowry of Byram, MS, and Antonio Shields of Atlanta, GA; one sister, Jeanette (Willie) R. Walker of Columbus, MS; one brother, Richard Rowry of York, AL; 2 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
