Obituary

Donald Russell Sharp aka "Cadillac Don" was called to continue his life with the Most High, on December
4, 2022. Don who was born on March 8, 1978, to Pearlie Mae Sharp and Willie O'Neal Sr (preceded in
death), in Crawford, Mississippi.

Don was a rare gem, and his light will forever shine. He loved his family and friends wholeheartedly and
if you called on him, he was there. He adored his beautiful wife, and his girls were his life. Don never
missed a dance recital, daddy-daughter lunch, or running up and down the road to get the girls to
practice. His spirit was playful and full of energy (guaranteed to make you laugh). From a kid up until his
adulthood, Don loved sports. He played baseball at West Lowndes High School, winning the national
championship in 1996. He went on to play baseball at Mississippi Valley State University and played
Major-League baseball for some time after college. He was eager to get back in the game and joined the
Adult League baseball team (Pirates) as his final stop. He loved sports but could never decide on a
football team-"His team", was the winning team. Let's talk about Cadillac Don- A national recording
artist who hit a spot on the billboard with the hit song "Inside Peanut Butter Outside Jelly". He traveled
the world and performed for millions of fans who loved him. Again, letting his light shine. Don was a true
businessman, as he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Art from Mississippi Valley State University, and his
passion was graphic design began. His latest creation was used at the 2022 BET Soul Train Awards. Don
was very proud of that accomplishment. Don was a professional graphic designer/photographer and
who was successfully self-employed for over 20 years. Don had a wealth of knowledge and studied
often. His book collection was extensive, and he always came up with incredible ideas through the
things he learned from self-teachings. He spread his knowledge all over the world and instilled his
teachings wherever he'd go. If you needed herbs, he was one call away; If you know, you know. He
loved helping others and he wanted to make the world a better place. We will let his light continue to
shine as his spirit lives on within and around us.

He leaves the world to enjoy and nurture his cherished Queen and loving wife Andrea Sharp, his two beautiful
princesses, Madison Sharp and Toni Sharp, Siblings- Lee Morris Sharp- Crawford Mississippi, Jamie Sharp (Tasha

Don't think of him as gone away, his journey's just begun; life holds so many facets
this earth is only one. Just think of him as resting from the sorrows and the tears in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years. Think how he must be wishing that we could know today, how nothing, but our sadness can really pass away. And think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched… for nothing loved is ever lost and he was loved so much.
