Obituary

Don Earl Yarbough was born December 28, 1974 in Macon, MS to Mary Alice Yarbough and David Turner, special step-father, Spizell Holmes and the Holmes Family.

He confessed his life to Christ an early age at Toliver Chapel M.B. Church. He remains a member until death.

He was a graduate of 1993 Noxubee High School.

He was a member of the Black Diamond MC Club. He worked at Brasfield and Gordon in Decatur, AL. Also, he was a member of Great Decision, LLC.

On July 12, 2026, the Lord called him home at 7:58 am at the Athens Limestone Hospital.

He preceded in death by his daughter, Jasmine Sharada Yarbough; grandparents, Curtis and Fannie Yarbough, 3 brothers, Willie B. Yarbough, Tyrone Holmes, Spizell Holmes, Jr., 2 sisters, Shemeka Holmes and Tiffany Holmes, 4 uncles, Curtis (Lillie) Yarbough, Joe Eddie Yarbough, Charlie Yarbough, Walter Ervin; and 1 aunt, Gertrude Yarbough.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Jeanette Roby Yarbough of Brooksville, MS; his mother, Mary Holmes of Brooksville, MS; father, David Turner of Columbus, MS; son, Tavoris (Candace) Yarbough of Brooksville, MS; grandsons, Takarter Barnett and Caytlin both of Muscle Shoal, AL; granddaughter, Jasmine Lashay Walter of Columbus, MS; two step-children, Tavian and Dantavian Davis both of Brooksville, MS; five sisters, Everlena (Derrick) Foote of Macon, MS, Lekisha (Jarriel) Jones and Alzal’h Glenn, Naomi Whooper All of Columbus, MS, and Shameka (Mario) Nixon of Hattiesburg, MS; brother, Tavaries (Latoria) McCoy of Macon, MS; mother-in-law, Bennie Roby; sister-in-law, Sharon Roby, Tena Roby, Theresa (Deyonteize) Mallard all of Brooksville, MS; brother-in-law, Willie Roby of Starkville, MS and Fredrick Roby of Brooksville, MS; uncles, George Yarbough of Philadelphia, MS, Bennie Will Yarbough of Starkville, MS, Judge (Fannie) Yarbough, Mozell Turner and Mike Turner both of South Bend, IN; aunts, Annie B. Ervin of Macon, MS, Mary Nell Turner, Linda Pippin, Martha Turner, Mary Louise Turner, Daisy Turner and Judy Turner all of Brooksville, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, c cousins and friends.

Don Earl Yarbough was loved by many people. He will truly be missed. He was a generous, kind hearted and a giving person.
