Dorothy Ann Billups was born on August 10, 1944 to the union of Johnnie Clifton and Georgia Mae Hendricks.

Dorothy worked at Little Hearts Daycare for many years raising and loving on the many children.  She also enjoyed cooking, attending Bible Study, dancing and praising the Lord at church, and spending time with family & friends.

Dorothy made her peaceful transition at the Windsor Place on Sunday, October 22, 2023.

She is preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Willie Jr., and Tony Hendricks; three sisters:  Johnnie W. Crowder, Wilda May Bankhead, and Martha Williams; two brothers, Johnny James and Willie James Hendricks.

Dorothy leaves to cherish her memories:  six children:  Undrae Patrick Billups of Cordova, TX, Christine Billups, Brenda Billups, and Sammie Billups all of Columbus, MS, Stephanie Billups of Huntsville, AL, Beverly Jackson of Vernon, AL; two sisters, Betty Pratt and Emma Crump both of Columbus, MS, Gracie Macon of St. Louis, MO; 12 grandchildren, 26 great- grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
