Dudley “June” Hopkins Sr., age 80, was born on November 26, 1945, to John Cunningham and Nellie Allen.

Dudley confessed his faith in Christ at an early age and joined Pilgrim Rest Church. He began working at the young age of 14. He was employed as a laborer with Kent Swine Company in Okolona, Mississippi, for more than 30 years. At the age of 22, Dudley married his beloved wife, Stella. Together, they shared 58 years of marriage and were blessed with six children.

He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Donna Hopkins; son Kennedy Hopkins; and brothers, Jimmy Lee Hopkins and John Hopkins.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 58 years, Stella Hopkins; four children, Dudley Hopkins Jr., Kennedy Hopkins (Barbara), Catina Hopkins, all of Brooksville, Mississippi, and Denise Naylor (Myron) of Tupelo, Mississippi; five sisters, Annie Hopkins and Hattie Hopkins of Gary, Indiana, Rosie Macon (Terry) of Macon, Mississippi, and Nellie Taylor and Eula Hopkins Blair of Brooksville, Mississippi; one brother, Dan Hopkins (Sheila) Gary, Indiana; 12 grandchildren; 16 great- grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
