Sis. Easter Mae Shelton Fenton was born on July 15, 1949 in Brooksville, MS. to the late Ephris and Hattie Shelton. On  Monday, June 24, 2025, Easter answered God's call, accepted her wings and said farewell to her family.

Easter resided in Columbus, MS. She accepted Christ as an early age and joined Union M.B. Church in Brooksville, MS.

Easter was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was employed with the Columbus Air Force Base with 24 years of service.

She met her beloved husband and wedding bells rang out on June 9, 1973, to this union three children were born.

Easter is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 52 years, Robert Fenton; six siblings, J.C. Shelton, Cream Shelton Billups, Edna Flood, Yvonne Johnson, Lucy McGregory and Rebertha Shelton; one daughter, Tina R. Jones.

She leaves an abundance of joy and happy memories for her family, her daughters, Nelcole Hobbs and Robin Ann Fenton; five grandchildren, Jada Hobbs, Allison Wilson, Taylor Jones, Vincent Jones, Jr. and Christrian Hobbs; two great-grandchildren, C. J. Hobbs and Keshon Hobbs; one sister, Dorothy Shelton Lowe; four brothers, Ephris (Kattie) Shelton, Jr., Henry Shelton, Van T. Shelton, Andra (Sandra) Shelton; and many family and friends
