Obituary

Felicia Ann Cooper was born on January 31, 1971, to the parents of John Albert Jordan and Daisy Bell Poindexter. She accepted Christ as her personal savior at a young age and remained a lifelong member of New Zion Pilgrim M.B. Church in Columbus, MS. She also sang in the choir.

Felicia began her employment in various businesses including American Red Kap, American Power Source, Huddle House, and the Country Club. In 2016, she relocated her and her family to Dickson, TN. While in Dickson, she employed with Dal-Tile.

Felicia was a fun-loving person. She enjoyed her family and friends, especially during gatherings. Her love for her children and grandchildren was her greatest joy. She also enjoyed playing cards, bingo, and cooking, which she took great pride in.

Felicia transitioned to eternal rest on January 12, 2024, in Nashville, TN. She is preceded in death by her father; her nephew, Josiah Richardson; and her grandparents: James and Betty Poindexter.

Felicia memories will forever be cherished by: her mother, Daisy Bell Poindexter of Columbus, MS; her children: Ortaga (Brittany) Poindexter, Tameka (Donald) Cooper, Carlos (Kaitlin) Cooper, Daisy (Fredrico) Cooper, and LaDarius (Kami) Cooper all of Dickson, TN, and Randall Cooper of Columbus, MS; her grandchildren, Bella Moody and Major Poindexter; her brother, Jermarco Poindexter of Columbus, MS, her sisters: Michelle Poindexter, Shannon Jordan-Hughes and Jeanette Hawthorne all of Columbus, MS and Lisa Wilson of Aberdeen, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
