Freddie W. Scott, a retired Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force and a Vietnam War veteran, passed away on March 15, 2025, in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born on April 12, 1937, in Columbus, Mississippi, and lived a life marked by service, dedication, and warmth.

Freddie proudly served his country with distinction in the United States Air Force, achieving the rank of Master Sergeant before his retirement. His military career included significant service during the Vietnam War, reflecting his deep commitment to duty and country. The values of discipline and honor that guided him in uniform continued to influence his life long after service.

In addition to his military career, Freddie was known for his love of cooking and hospitality. Freddie is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Alice; his sons, Tyrone, Terry, and Tony; and his grandchildren, Jason, Tyrone Jr., Nathan, Derrick, and Sequoia. He is also survived by his sister, Anita, and his brother, William, along with multiple nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Luberta, and his brothers, Donald and Leroy
