Frederick G. Tate was born May 9, 1965 to Anderson Tate Sr. and Anna Washington Tate. He confessed Christ at an early age and was baptized at Canaan M.B. Church.
Frederick, affectionally known as "Freddie" and "Uncle Bone" was a 1983 graduate of R.S. Caldwell High School in Columbus, MS. After High School, he attended East Mississippi Community College. He later enlisted in the United State Army for several years. After serving his country, he worked in various restaurants as a Cook.
On June 12, 2013, he married Jacqulyn Green. He was an avid lover of the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Yankees.
On Sunday, January 22, 2023, he quietly received his wings and landed safely in God's Arms. Freddie was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Rufus Tate and Anderson Tate, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving and devoted wife, Jacqulyn "Jackie" Green Tate; six daughters, Maranda Latham, Xena Tate, Brianna Tate all of Columbus, MS, Sabrina Franklin of Dallas, TX, Nigel Green of Muskegon, MI, and Tyrolyn Thompson of Columbus, MS; two sons, Frederick "Lil Freddie" Tate of Dallas, TX and Nathaniel Rice of Columbus, MS; two sisters, Margaret (Terry) Hill of Conyers GA and Shirley (Hilbert) Williams of Columbus, MS; one brother, Johnny (Catherine) Washington of Chicago, IL. He also leaves 20 grandchildren, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
