G.L. Taylor was born July 4, 1964 to the late Sadie Bell Taylor and Joe King Taylor. He confessed Christ at an early age and joined Second Baptist M.B. Church in Brooksville, MS. On August 6,2024 the angels of Heaven came in peacefully and sealed the lips of our love one to carry him to God's Heavenly Garden.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, R.C. and Bobbie C. Taylor, two sisters, Hattie Mae Beck and Brenda Taylor.

He leaves to cherish his memories fiancee; Irene Dancy of Brooksville, MS., One Son; Roderick Brooks of Starkville, MS., Four brothers, Joe L. (Mary) Taylor of Macon, MS., Six sisters; Willie Mae ( Joe Lee) Hopkins of Brooksville, MS., Linda Taylor of Memphis, TN., Cynthia ( Buster) Payne of Columbus, MS., Shelia Taylor of Lithonia, GA., Patricia( Earl) Ramsey of Macon, MS., Sandra( Bryce) Kelly of Caledonia, MS., Bonus Sons; Reggie Dancy of Florida, Antonia Dancy and Jaqurious Clark both of Brooksville, MS., Step-Mother, Dolly Mae Taylor of Macon, MS., A close friend, Jimmie Mason of Macon, MS. and a host of relatives and friends.
