Gary (Big League) Grissom was born on August 13, 1972 in Macon, MS to Minnie Pearl Grissom and the Late Jimmie Lee Grissom.

A time to be Loved

Gary embraced life growing up with his parents, siblings, cousins and friends. He later in life became a father of 6 children which made him happy.

A time to Die---A Time of Peace (Ecclesiastes 3:28)

On Wednesday, September 18, 2024, God saw a flower that was ready to be picked and placed in his Heavenly garden. For we know God is to wise to make a mistake and to just to do wrong. Gary at the age of 52 humbly bowed to the will of God and peacefully entered into the rest from his trails and tribulations.

He was preceded in death by his father; Jimmie Lee Grissom and Brother Leonard (Pookie) Grissom.

His memories will never be forgotten and will be cherished forever by his loving family and friends. He leaves to cherish his memories and broken hearts, Mother Minnie Pearl Grissom of Macon, MS; four daughters, Angel Jones, Columbus, MS; Korshe'unt Green, Houston, TX; Uylsses Clanton, Macon, MS; Deja Cotton, Macopn, MS. two sons, Gary Grissom and Justin Grissom of Louisville, MS and six Grandchildren. Three sisters, Evelyn Grissom, Donna Grissom of Macon, MS Katrous (Deatrim) Cooper of Greenville, MS. one brother, Jamario Grissom of Macon, MS; A special Aunt Diane Ruffin of Macon, MS. a special cousin Thomas Clark of Macon, MS. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
