Glenn (Tootie) Bush was born on November 16, 1956 to the late Mr. Willie Ivory Bush and Mrs. Mary Frances Bush, in Crawford, (Lowndes county), Mississippi.
He was a loving brother who was always there when we needed him. He had many friends and was well-loved member of both the Columbus Mississippi of which he once lived and Houston, Texas community in which he lived.
He confessed Christ at the age of eleven, where he joined New Hope Baptist Church in Artesia, Ms. He attended Motley Elementary and Motley High School where he graduated in 1974 and later joined the United States Army, after returning from the military he went to work with J B Hunt and Weyerhaeuser. Glenn became terminal ill and moving to Houston, Texas.
He is preceded in death by an grandson, Jarins Howard; aunt, Catherine Johnson, and two uncles, Jimmy Burnett and Bobby Dale.
He is survived by a daughter, Angie (Sylvester) Craddieth and a son, Gentry Stowers both of Columbus, Mississippi. He also leaves to cherish his memories: five sisters and four brothers, Maxine (Houston) Smith of Abilene, Texas, Willie Mae Peoples of Columbus, Mississippi, Lynn Wynn of Arlington, Texas, Sammie (Anja) Bush of Phoenix, Arizona, Carnell Bush both of Houston, Texas, Betty (Ronald) Young and Lawanda (Tarua) Tyre, Daryl Bush and Rodney Bush both of Cincinnati, Ohio; aunt, Mozella (Bill) Lawrence of Cincinnati, Ohio; five grandchildren, Iesha Williams, Kevin Williams (Elexus) Shaprice Cuff (Xavier), Jonekqua (Ronald) Howard, Jeremiah Stowers; extended family, Jimmie Hudgins; and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and many, many friends.
