James Frank Hudson, Jr. was born July 30, 1970 in Columbus, MS to the late James Frank, Sr. and Julia Mable Ferguson-Hudson. He departed this life on Friday, January 26, 2024.

He attended Caldwell High School where he graduated with the Class of 1988. He drove trucks for over 25 years until retirement from Better Brands in 2018. He was a member of New Hope CME Church.

He was united in holy matrimony to Linda Sharp Hudson on April 14, 2001.

James is preceded in death by: his mother, Julia Mable Ferguson-Hudson, his father: James Frank Hudson, Sr.; his brother, James Adam Hudson.

James leaves to cherish all the special memories: his wife of 23 years, Linda A. Hudson; his brother, William H. Mitchell, his sisters: Rita(Eric)Granderson, Brenda Humphries, and Monica Hudson all of Columbus, MS, Shanda(Shawn)Williams of Oxford, MS, and Junicha(Keith)Hinton of Moundville, AL; his sisters-in-law: Janet Sharp, Jennifer(Demetrios)Petty, and Sceletha Sharp; his brothers-in-law: Rodney Sharp and Joshua Sharp; aunts: Cecil Moore and Fannie W.(Robert)Stevenson both of Columbus, MS; uncles: Willie B. Ferguson of Muskegon, MI; and a host nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
