Jerome Taylor was born to Robert Whitfield and Aretha Taylor on May 17, 1974 in Columbus, MS. Jerome attended Franklin Academy School. He was a very proud resident of Columbus, MS. Jerome worked for Wheeler Roofing for nine years.

Jerome went to his eternal rest on December 21, 2023, in Columbus, MS. He was preceded in death by his father.

He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Aretha Taylor of Columbus, MS; two sons: Javon and Travon Taylor both of Columbus, MS; five brothers: Tyrone Taylor and Antonio Porter of Both of Columbus, MS, Kenny Thomas of Jackson, MS, and Stanley Washington and Vyngie(Stephanie)Washington both of Kenosha, WI; one sister, Tarsha(Remarco)Williams of Columbus, MS; two grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
