Jimmy L. Webber, age 92, transitioned to eternal rest on the evening of Sunday, November 2, 2025, in West Point, MS. He entered this world to William Murray Webber and Louvenia Odneal Webber on July 21, 1933, in Columbus, MS.

Jimmy accepted Christ as his personal savior at St. Paul M.B. Church where he remained a member for his lifetime. He was a fun-loving person who enjoyed fellowship with family and friends. His favorite hobby was shooting pool. Jimmy was employed for many years as truck driver for various moving companies including Allied Van Lines and Mayflower Trucking until retirement. He also drove trucks for Bigbee Transportation and was the co-owner and operator of Paradise Café in the alley of downtown Columbus, MS.

In addition to his parents, Jimmy is preceded in death by his son, Melvin Webber, four sisters, Catherine Webber, Lue Dell Webber, Susie Pratt and Clara Anthony and one brother, Frederick Webber.

Jimmy's memories will forever be cherished by his children: Lynn (Jeffery )Kennedy of Columbus, MS, Bruce (Zsa Zsa) Ferguson and Reginald Ferguson both of Starkville, MS, Anthony Ferguson of Tupelo, MS, Marcus (Jajuan) Ferguson of Knoxville, TN, Janice (Alvin) Wright of Houston, TX, Jeffery (Xavier) Webber of Memphis, TN, Barbara (Donald) Bell and Alicia (Cleo) Robinson both of Columbus, MS, Curtis Webber of Washington, D.C., Tony Webber of Baltimore, MD, Kevin Smith, Sr., Vincent (Sherry) Ferguson, and Oliver (Judy) Hairston; his siblings, Roger Webber and Maurice Webber both of Columbus, MS, Sallie McCaskill and Diana Webber both of Peekskill, NY, Georgia Burns and Vickie (Fred) both of Columbus, MS, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a special friend, Carrie Terry of Columbus, MS; and a host of other relatives and friends.
