John Dennis
Dancer, III
July 13, 1993 – February 28, 2026
John Dennis Dancer, III was born on July 13, 1993, in Columbus, Mississippi, to John Dancer, II and Gloria Baker. He departed this life on February 28, 2026, at his residence in Benbrook, Texas.
At an early age, John confessed his hope in Christ, placing his trust in God and carrying that faith with him throughout his life. His belief gave him strength, comfort, and guidance, shaping the kind and joyful spirit so many came to love.
John was a proud 2012 graduate of Caledonia High School. After relocating to Benbrook, Texas, he became a member of God’s Anointed People, where he continued to grow in his faith and fellowship. He was employed with K.P. Staffing, working diligently as a Packer, always striving to do his best.
John had a vibrant personality and a heart full of warmth. He enjoyed washing cars, dressing sharply, and shopping, always taking pride in looking his best. More than anything, he cherished spending time with family. Whether he was behind the grill cooking up a meal or sharing jokes that filled the room with laughter, John had a special way of bringing people together. His smile was infectious, his laughter unforgettable, and his presence a true gift to those who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents: Helen and John Dancer, Sr., Mary and Willie Rush, and Willie Baker.
John leaves to cherish his precious memories to his loving parents, John Dancer, II and Gloria Baker; his siblings, LaKendrick Rush, Ashley Dancer and Tevin Gandy; his devoted fiancé, Tequila Cassiberry; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends whose lives he touched deeply.
Though his time here was far too short, John’s love, laughter, and light will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His memory will continue to inspire strength, unity, and joy in the family he so dearly cherished.
