Obituary

John Walter Stewart was born December 12, 1942 in Noxubee County to the loving parents of Mr. Anderson and Mrs. Hattie B. Stewart.

He departed this life September 13, 2022 at OCH Regional Medical Center in Starkville, MS.

John accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. He was a member of Harrison Grove M.B. Church.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Anderson and Hattie B. Stewart; two sisters; and eight brothers.

John Walter Stewart leaves to cherish his memories: two children, Regina E. Stewart of Waukegan, IL and Martha (Johnny Mae) Robinson of Macon, MS; two grandchildren, Muhsin K Addullan III of Waukegan, IL and Dunshay Robinson of Macon, MS; four-great grandchildren, Asia, Shamar, Amir Robinson and Londen Brewer of Macon, MS; five sisters, Dora Stewart Lovelace of Brooksville, MS, Charlene Stewart of Rainbow City, AL, Pearlie Mae Anderson, Annette Henley both of Columbus, MS, and Della Mae Henley of Long Island, NY; two brothers, Roy Stewart of Brooksville, MS and L.C. Stewart of Brooksville, MS; two special friends, John Brown and Linda Chandler both of Brooksville MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
