Johnny "Sport
Wheel" Webber
April 11, 1949 – April 23, 2025
Bro. Johnny Webber entered this on April 11, 1949 in Lowndes County, MS to James Webber & Mary Alice Humphries Webber. He attended schools and completed his high school education at R.E. Hunt High School in 1969. He later continued his studies at East Mississippi Community College. After high school, Johnny enlisted in the U.S. Army where he served several years. Johnny began his employment at various location throughout his life including the railroad, Columbus Air Force Base, United Technologies, and lastly Hydrovac.
Johnny, also known as "Sport Wheel", confessed Christ as his personal savior on April 19, 2003 at Halbert Mission Baptist Church in Ethelsville, AL. He lived a wonderful life full of love for his family, friends, and community.
Johnny departed this life on April 23, 2025 in Columbus, MS. He is preceded in death by parents.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Patricia Ann Webber of Columbus, MS; his children, Tanya Webber, Orlando Webber, Tara Henry, Zoe Webber, Christina Henry all of Columbus, MS, and Antjwan Henry of West Point, MS; his siblings: Mary (Willie) Turner, Willie James Webber, Rosie Lee all of Columbus, MS, Dennis Webber of Memphis, TN, and Dianne Webber of Little Rock, AR; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
