Joshua left this earth on September 6, 2014. Joshua was born March 1, 1990 to Johnnie and Lillie Richardson. He was a native of Columbus, MS. He confessed Christ under the leadership of Bishop Bobby L. McCarter, Sr. He was a member of Victory F.G. Baptist Church under the leadership of his father, Overseer Johnnie "Burt" Richardson. Joshua was a 2008 graduate of Columbus High School. He attended East Mississippi Community College and Northeast Mississippi Community College where he was a member of the football team. He earned an Associate's Degree at East Mississippi Community College. He was later employed at Baucom Janitorial Services. Joshua was a loving and caring individual who had a heart for everybody. He was known as "Big Josh" and "Hammer" to friends and family. He is survived by mother and father, Johnnie and Lillie Richardson; two brothers, Caleb Richardson and Jonathan Richardson; two sisters, Chekita Richardson and Kimberly Richardson all of Columbus, MS; his aunts and uncles, Dorothy (John) Sims and Lucille Richardson all of Atlanta, GA, Johnny James (Sarah) Richarsdon and Easter (Curtis) Jordan all of Columbus, MS; two great aunts, Tilda Anthony (Robert) Tate of Crawford, MS, and Myrtle Hairston of Columbus, MS; and a host of many relatives and dear friends.
