Julius Clay was born July 11, 1951 to union of the late Frank Clay and Edith Bracy Ramsey.

Julius attended Noxubee County School District. He was a hard working man and believed in doing things for himself. Julius enjoyed farming. He has been farming for a long time. Everybody knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; Patricia Dancy Clay; sister, Margie Ree Stevens; brothers, Frank Clay, Jr., Eddie Ramsey, Jessie Clay and Freddie Clay.

Julius Clay leaves to cherish his memories: his sisters, Mary Ramsey of Macon, MS, and Betty Gunn of Columbus, MS; daughters, Cynthia Renee( Earl) Martin of Springfield, IL, Felishes Clay of Macon, MS, Jenessa Odeneal (Amerson) Thomas of Columbus, MS, Angela Clay of Scooba, MS; sons, Julius Clay, Jr. of Chicago, IL, Tyrone Clay and Andrew Clay both of Macon, MS, Frederick Clay of Scooba, MS; 16 grandchildren, and 37 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
