Brother J.W. Lowe was born on July 25, 1936, in Caledonia, Mississippi, to the late Thomas Lowe and Jimmy Lou Lowe. On Thursday, July 2, 2026, J.W. peacefully entered eternal rest at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, Mississippi.
J.W. spent his early years in Caledonia, Mississippi. At a young age, he accepted Christ as his Savior and faithfully served as a deacon at Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church.
On December 29, 1958, J.W. married the love of his life, L.E. Lowe. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and love, sharing 63 years of marriage and raising their amazing children.
J.W. dedicated 45 years of service to Vista Chemical Company. He enjoyed farming, riding motorcycles, and spending time with his wife, children, and family. Above all, he loved his family and treasured every moment spent with them.
J.W.’s legacy of faith, love, and devotion will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
J.W. is preceded in death by: his parents; his wife; and siblings: Willie Dale Lowe, Jimmiella Verner, Thomas T Lowe, Jimmy Oliver Lowe, and Jimmy D Lowe.
He leaves an abundance of joy and happy memories for his family including eight children: Christine Buford, Pearl Lowe, Charlotte Lowe, John Lowe, Debbie Lowe, Cynthia Lowe, Mark Lowe, Antonio Lowe; grandchildren: Bianca Sands, Phillip Thomas, Nevordia Lowe, Crystal Terry, Jaylon Lowe, Paige Terry, Breandria Buford, Jariah Lowe, Jorian Lowe, Markayla Lowe great-grandchildren, Chloe Sands, PJ Thomas, Kennedy Thomas, Destiny Thomas, Jayci Lowe, Zaylah D’Motta; siblings: Juanita Goship, Bobbynell Hollivay, Loretta Hollivay, Thomas Lowe, Donnie Lowe, Gayle Thomas, Bob Lowe, Odell Lowe.
He also leaves to cherish his memories of many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends, and church members.
