Katherine Brown was born March 7, 1942, to the union of Ollie Brown and Magnolia-Golden Brown. She went on to be in the presence of the Lord on the morning of January 5, 2024. Katherine was a gentle, nurturing, kind-hearted spirited woman of God. Katherine accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized in the name of Jesus. She was a member of Northside M.B. Church in Columbus, MS.

Katherine was a very strong in her spirit and her faith. Her love and understanding brought joy to all that knew her. She loved singing and lifting praises to the Lord and always wanted others to know the goodness of God. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her. She was a quiet spirit and a beautiful creation.

He has made everything beautiful in its time. -Ecclesiastes 3:11.

Katherine was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers: Warren Brown, Ollie J. Brown, Daniel Brown, Benjamin Brown, Willie Brown, and Charlie L. Brown; her sisters: Irene Brown, Ollie M. Young, and Elizabeth Robinson.

Katherine's memories will forever be cherished by: her children, Vera Brown of Gulfport, MS, Magnolia Smith of Columbus, MS, and Titus (Anitra) Brown of Columbus, MS; her brother, John Brown of San Antonio, TX; eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren; and host of other relatives and friends.
