Keshia Hairston was born on December 14, 1977 in Columbus, MS to Calvin Stewart Sr. and Brenda Lomax.  Keshia was raised in Grand Rapids and moved back to Columbus to live with her grandmother and be with her other siblings.  Keshia was a pillar of her community.  She supported her family and friends in whatever they did.  Keisha loved everyone and everyone loved Keisha.  She was a strong woman from being on dialysis to having two transplants.  Her first kidney was rejected and she had so many hospital visits but that didn't stop her for being there to show her love and support to her community, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, twin brothers and her grandmother, Queen Ella Hairston.
