Obituary

Kyle Rondrell Burnett was born on August 27, 2001, in Columbus, Mississippi, to the late Henrico Jennings and Demetrice Danielle Burnett.

Kyle graduated from Columbus High School in 2020 and later attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. At the time of his passing, he served as a member of management at Dollar General in Columbus, Mississippi. Customers and coworkers alike remember him as a kind, respectful, and hardworking young man who was always willing to help others. He was known for his warm smile, positive attitude, and exceptional work ethic.

Kyle touched the lives of countless people with his compassionate heart and selfless spirit. He will be remembered for his leadership, his gentle soul, and the love he shared with everyone around him. He was a devoted father, a loving son, brother, grandson, uncle, cousin, nephew, and a loyal friend whose presence brought comfort and joy to those who knew him.

Whether helping a family member, supporting a friend, or lending a hand to a stranger, Kyle consistently went above and beyond without expecting anything in return. His kindness, generosity, and unwavering willingness to serve others left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Although Kyle’s time with us was far too short, his legacy of love, compassion, and service will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him. He will be deeply missed, forever cherished, and lovingly remembered.

He was preceded in death by his father, Henrico Jennings; and his son, Aiden Burnett; grandfather, Jesse Lee Irons; uncle, Patrick Ruff.

He leaves to cherish his memories; his mother, Demetrice Burnett of Columbus, MS; sons, Nevaeh Davis and Kyle Burnett both of Columbus, MS; siblings, Blake Burnett and Dontaquius Jennings; grandparents, Dianne Webb (Kary), Henry and Renata Jennings; aunts, Ashley Burnett Taylor (Oscar), Rekeisha Jennings Blair (Zimilish), Takaia Burnett and Adrian Wilson (Demario); uncles, Marcus Burnett, Christopher Burnett, Woodrow Wilson, Jr, Xavier Wilson all of Columbus. MS; and a host of cousins and other relatives and friends.
