LaChonda Rena Washington was born March 5, 1974, in Monticello, Arkansas, to Albert and Vicki Lee.  She departed this life on October 4, 2024 at her home, Columbus, Mississippi.

LaChonda was a lifelong resident of Columbus, Mississippi.

In her spare time, she enjoyed having fun with her children's and friends. Also, she enjoyed cooking, listening to music, dancing, putting puzzles together, and playing the trombone in the school band. She never met a stranger, and had a great love for family and friends.

Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Albert Lee, Sr. and Lillie Lee, her grandfather, Virgil O'Neal.

Shorty will truly be missed by us: her children:  Tyler Terry, Jordan Washington, Justin Washington, all of Columbus, MS; parents: Vickie & Albert Lee, both of Columbus, MS; sister: LaRhonda Weatherspoon, of Jacksonville, FL; brothers: Frederick Lee, of Oakland, CA; Rickey Washington, of Thailand, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
