Latasha Renea Hudson, the eldest of two children, was born August 18, 1988, in Columbus, Mississippi to Kelvin and Vivian Hudson; however, she grew up in Steens, Mississippi.

During her early years in life, Latasha accepted Christ as her personal savior and joined Military Chapel United Methodist Church in Steens, Mississippi. She graduated from Caledonia High School in 2007, and later attended Gibson's Barber School in West Point, Mississippi, graduating with her cosmetology degree.

Her employment resume included being employed as a cafeteria worker at the Generations of Vernon in Vernon, AL in 2009. She obtained her CNA license while working with Generations of Vernon, and later left that facility to begin working at Aurora Health & Rehab Facility which was her last place of employment.

On July 11, 2023, God called her to her heavenly home. She was preceded into death by: her parents, Kelvin and Vivian Hudson; her grandmothers: Lollie M. Hudson & Willie N. Westbrook; her grandfathers: Clyde B. Hudson & Charles Love; her first cousin, Corey Hudson; her uncles: Aaron B. Hudson, Charlie Johnson, Olie Cannon, Ronnie Love, & Donald Johnson.

Latasha is survived by: her sister, Latesha (Derrick) Thomas of Steens, Mississippi; her fiancé, Richard Williams of Columbus, MS; her uncles: Robert Love of Chicago, Illinois, Grover Hudson of Columbus, Mississippi, and Alvin Hudson of Chicago, Illinois; her aunts: Maxine Love of Florence, AL, Sharon Hudson of Vernon, AL, and Teresa Cannon of Huntsville, AL; her great aunt & uncle, Sellus and Irma Dickerson; a special friend, Elizabeth McDonald; also a host of stepchildren/grandchildren, cousins, other relatives and friends.
