Laura Jean  Nash was born November 20, 1946 in Columbus, MS to Sam and Laura Nash.

She departed this life on January 18, 2025, at Saint Dominic Hospital.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Sam Nash Jr., Henry Nash, Johnny Nash, JC Nash, Mary Nash Henley, and  Lynda Nash-Bell.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her son, Rahmeel Nash (Beatrice); two grandchildren, Brandon Jackson and Breanna Nash Williams (Jacolby); two great grandchildren, Jeremih Jackson and Jayci Williams; three sisters, Ella Taylor, Bobbie McAfee, and Cora Hicks; one brother, Lynn Nash; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
