Lillie Mae Miller was born in Lowndes County, MS on January 3, 1943 to Willie George Henry and Lizzie Scott. She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Turner Chapel A.M.E. Church. Later in life, she moved her member, and  joined Northside M.B. Church. Lillie spent most of her years providing for family and friends. She was always willing to lend a helping hand in a domestic capacity.

Lillie Mae Miller departed this life on December 29, 2024 in Columbus, MS. She is preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Arthur Miller, Sr.; her daughter, Angelia Williams; her sister, Margaret Nance; and her brothers, Willie B. Scott, Michael Scott, and Preston D. Scott.

Lillie's memories will forever be remembered by: her children, Arthur Miller, Jr. of California, MD, Dennis (Darlene) Miller, Catherine Miller, Steven Miller,  and Vickie (Allen) Smith all of Columbus, MS; thirteen grandchildren; twelve great-grand children; her sisters, Virginia Scott, Wilma Jean Scott, Jacqueline (Michael) Murray, Jewel (Alvin) Jones all of Columbus, MS, and Brenda (Henry) Ferguson of Killeen, TX; her brothers: James Scott and Raymond Scott both of Columbus, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
