Linda "Lynn" Young was born August 19, 1964, in Macon, MS to the late Bernice Young Triplett and Rev. Willie L. Tate; she was later adopted Mr. Wayne and Danella Jamison who raised her. Linda peacefully departed this earthly life on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at her home.
Linda was a Noxubee County High School graduate with the class of 1984. She was a very caring, loving, and compassionate person towards her family and everyone she met. She enjoyed sewing, fishing, dancing and was always full of energy. Linda never met a stranger. She was the life of the party, everywhere she went.
Linda was a member of Christian Hill M.B. were she served as an usher. She was a dedicated worker at American Power Source for 17 years.
She was preceded in death by her adopted parents and her brother the late Florell Triplett.
Linda leaves to cherish her memories one daughter Tyonia "Tawanda" Young, two sons Demarcus Young, and Delvin (Jessica) Young all of Macon, MS: her grandchildren, Aleisha "LeLe" Young and Briana "BreBre" William of Macon, MS, as well as 10 other grandchildren; two sisters, Tracy Triplett of Fort Worth, TX and Floretta (Main) Matthew of Marion, AR; her adopted sisters, Delphine (Scott) Stewart, Sharon Little both of Macon, MS. Glenda (Curtis) Perry, of Atlanta, GA. Carol Jamison of St. Louis, MO; three adopted brothers Anthony (Tameka) Jamison of Macon, MS, Wayne (Sophia) Jamison, Tyrone (Areatha) Jamison both of Columbus, MS; her aunts Annie P. Tate of Brooksville, MS., Carrie Young of Macon, MS and Jessie Durhan of Gary, IN; uncles, Earnest Young of Gary, IN. Samuel Jamison, of Brooksville, MS. Charlie (Annie Ruth) Jamison of Columbus, MS and Johnny Young of Macon, MS; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Linda also leaves to cherish her memories her special friends, Judge Jim (Joan) Kitchens of Caledonia, MS, Lula Jones of Brooksville, MS, and Rosie Glenn Triplett of Macon, MS.
