Lorenzo LaShawn Rupert, affectionately known as "Duck," was born on February 21, 1963, and departed this life on November 3, 2025, at the age of 60.

He was the beloved son of the late Betty Lou Rupert and Curtis Rupert Sr.

Lorenzo proudly served in the United States Army and held several other jobs throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his siblings Brenda Rupert and Curtis Rupert.

Lorenzo leaves to cherish his memories: his children, Laquacious LaShawn Rupert & Rollando LaShawn Rupert; his grandchildren, Justin Rupert and Kellen Roberts; and his siblings, Linda Faye Rupert and Sandra Rupert.  He will be remembered fondly by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
