Lorenzo Washington was born in Macon, MS to Booker T. Washington and Rena Mae Washington on January 12, 1959.
He grew up in Macon, MS. After graduating High School, he moved to Chicago, IL to work construction for a short period of time with his older brother at Washington Construction Company. After a brief stint in Chicago, he returned to Macon where he helped to take care of his mother and father.
Lorenzo loved to read books, geography, history, as well as God's word the Bible. He loved arts and crafts. Early on, he had a taste for fine clothing, always looking through fashion magazines.
He was a very talented man. He had an easy going personality that would be hard to forget. He was loved by everyone.
Lorenzo is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Alex Brown and Stella Brown; two sisters, Bessie Lee Rollins and Pearlie Mae Yeargain; one brother, Booker T. Washington, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memories: four brothers, Leroy (Valerie) Washington from Chicago, IL, Troy Washington, Kent (Angela) Washington and Alexander Washington all of Macon, MS; one sister, Virginia (Gregory) White of Chicago, IL; two aunts, Daisy Lockett and Lillie Harris from East St. Louis, IL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
