Lue Alice Conner, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, was born on January 28, 1950, in Noxubee   County, Mississippi, to Henry and Senella Conner. She departed this life on August 11, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS.

Lue Alice was a 1969 graduate of Noxubee County High School. Lue confessed hope in Christ at an early age. After graduating high school, Lue began her work career with Spartus Manufacture in Louisville, MS. She was also an Avon representative. Lue was very resourceful and a hard worker, she provided a comfortable life for herself and her children.

In her later years, Lue Alice moved to Columbus, Mississippi, Lue had a passion for her family and friends. Lue also loved to cook, whenever you came to visit her she would always ask if you want "something to eat". Lue also enjoyed shopping, taking care of her plants and reading.

Lue was active in her community often providing transportation to those who didn't have transportation such as to doctor appointments, grocery shopping etc. She will be remembered for her selflessness and compassion, whether it was through a warm smile, a listening ear, or a helping hand, Lue embodied the essence of family, love, and community.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Judy; three brothers, James E, Henry C, and Henry D. Conner.

She is survived by her children, Gregory Conner and Teresa Conner both of Macon, MS; her siblings, Susie (Roy) Sherrod of Columbus, MS, Beulah Conner of Macon, MS, Robert Conner of Starkville, MS and Sammie Conner of Columbus, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
