Margie "Bay" Love was born on December 05, 1928, in Oktibbeha County, MS to the late Wilson and Irene Lawrence. She confessed Christ at an early age and served on the usher board from her tender teenage years until she was ninety years old. Margie enjoyed sewing quilts, caring for others, and cooking home−cooked meals for her family. She was known for her delicious homemade sweet potato pies. Margie worked at Crawford Elementary School for a short time before deciding to dedicate the rest of her working years as a homemaker raising her children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Margie transitioned peacefully on October 02, 2023, in the presence of close family. She is preceded in death by her husband, the late Hill Love, Sr. and her thirteen siblings. She loved her family dearly and leaves to cherish her legacy a host of family members which include: her dear children, John Love (Annie), Margie Williams (Bobby, deceased), Pearlie Yearby (Michael), and Hill Love, Jr. (Delitha); thirteen (13) grandchildren, (11) eleven great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
