Marilyn Louise Murray was born February 19, 1964 to Oscar Lee Murray and Earnest Retha Murray.

She departed this life on March 8, 2023.

Marilyn accepted Jesus Christ at an early age she joined Tenth Street Church. She attended Caldwell High School. Later, she worked for a Leigh Mall in Columbus, MS.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Oscar Lee Murray, Sr. and Earnest Retha Murray; grandparents, Martha Clayton, Sy Clayton, Tally Murray and Ellen Murray; daughter, Shamira Murray; sisters, Annie Hill and Delois Jean Bennett and nephew, Tovaris Lee Deloach.

She leaves to cherish her memories: daughter, Robretta Murray of Columbus, MS; sons, Joey Murray, Marlous Murray, Roosevelt Porter all of Columbus, MS, Carlous Murray of Temple, GA; sisters, Gloria Murray of Seattle, WA, Ruby Henderson and Sharon Ellis of Columbus, MS, Tracey Ledbetter Daniels of Jackson, MS, Albert Payne of Harford, CT, Lonnie Murray, Oscar Lee Murray, Jr. and Roderiques Murray all of Seattle, WA, father of her children, Klaus Gore; 9 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
