February 15, 1973 – January 7, 2026
MARK JUNIOR BUTLER better known as "Bug" was born on February 15, 1973, to the late Shirley Ann Butler and Sammy Lee Truelove, Jr. in Aberdeen, MS. He attended the Caledonia School. Upon finishing school, he worked for Wongo Car Care as a teenager, and he
then moved on to Premier Ford for 30 years. His final job was at Peco Foods until his health declined.
He accepted Christ at an young age at Brownlee U.M. Church and later joined El Bethel M.B. Church where he
was a proud deacon.
Everyone knew he loved his children, but his prize possession was his grandchildren. Mark had a loved for the Mississippi State Bulldogs and the Grand Mercury Marquis with those Vogue Tires.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Stacy Diana Shelley.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories to the love of his life, Nicki Bryan; step-father, Robert Sanders; his
children, Demarcus (Kiara) Sanders, Keshon Butler, Ahmari Butler and Khaleigh Hiles; his grandchildren,
Greyson W. Sanders and Reagan Marie Ann Sanders; his siblings, Catina Butler, James (Laquana) Butler, Sammie
Lee Truelove, JR., Tony Hackman, Lonnie Pratt, Leroy Hampton, Tammy McShelle Truelove-King, Janice Marie
Martin and Dorothy Brooks. Mark also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
